Data Collection/Consent We do not use cookies, profile, or track our users. Data Transit/Data Retention Brevo provides hosting and cloud services and acts as a data processor for Active Ireland Recreation.
Mailing list signup data is managed by Brevo using best practice guidelines.
Ticket Tailor manages our Splash N Dash booking processing and acts as a data processor for Active Ireland Events.
Data held by Splash N Dash is maintained for the minimum time required to meet Irish and EU legal requirements, with automatic deletion following statutory requirements.
Privacy by Design/Data Minification Data provided to Active Ireland through this site is explicitly entered when booking a camp or joining the mailing list.
Links to external sites with different privacy policies, including Facebook, Instagram, and Brevo, are available on this site.

Communications Our privacy policy is regularly reviewed and any updates are placed on this web page.

Terms of Service

Please Read Carefully

All bookings are subject to these terms of service offered by CP Adventure, Russborough, Blessington, Co Wicklow (referred to as "the company"). If you have any questions, contact us at 089 2299458 or info@splashndash.ie.

Definitions

The Company: CP Adventure

Booking

Allocation: First come, first served.
Authority: Customer represents they can book for the group and accepts these terms.
Contract: Established upon booking confirmation via email or online.
Accuracy: Check booking details and report discrepancies immediately.
Age Requirement: Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Booking for minors implies the customer is their parent/guardian.

Payments

Price Changes: All prices may change.
Payment: Full amount due at booking.
Cancellation by Company: Possible without notice if payment terms are not met.
Group Responsibility: Inform group members of booking conditions and obtain consent.

Cancellations

Non-Refundable: All sales are final.
Transfers: Allowed with 72 hours notice to alternative events within the same year or to a new customer.
Company Cancellation: Events may be rescheduled or canceled without notice due to conditions. Rescheduled events are not considered cancellations. Full refunds or rebooking options are available for company-canceled events.

Medical Attention

Health Declaration: Required from all customers.
First Aid: Permission granted for basic first aid and emergency treatment.
Insurance: Signing a liability waiver is required; personal accident insurance is recommended. Civil Defense will be on site for emergencies.

Activities / Group Structure

Weather Dependency: Activities may change due to weather.
Fitness: Basic fitness level required; inform the company of any illnesses.
Safety Agreement: Participants must acknowledge risks, wear appropriate safety gear, and follow instructions.

Unruly Behavior

Removal: The company may remove anyone causing danger or distress without a refund. Customers are liable for damages caused by their party.

Insurance

Liability Insurance: Public and employers liability insurance is in place; policy copies available upon request.
Personal Accident Insurance: Customer responsibility. The company is not liable for injuries or accidents, and customers waive all claims.

Photographs

Media Use: Photos/videos may be used in marketing. Inform the company in writing if you do not wish to be photographed.

Applicable Law

Jurisdiction: Governed by Irish law, disputes resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of Irish courts.

Understanding of Terms and Conditions

Acceptance: Booking and payment imply acceptance of these terms and the company’s website terms.
